in an effort to be more connected to the fans this year, i'm doing that "twitter" thing. you can follow me at twitter.com/nickfromislands with pretty regular updates about my goings on. i'm working on a solo record in my bedroom that i hope to have done by the end of the year. it will be called "i am an attic". thinking about making that a freebie. in the studio at the moment making new islands record with....jamie. crazy right? it's going to be nutso good, and in a completely new direction. planning to make another islands record later this summer that's also going to be going in a completely new and different direction. howie doo is still slated for a spring release (finger's crossed), and yeah, i saw the howie mandel doo doo. bummer.
