Went through a really bad 2 year depression. Getting out of it finally. Ready to finish out college.
It's weird how long this has been around. Also, got the SSLYBY tank so life is good

Busy getting married. (Sept 2012: Eff that. No way.) Before that my supervisor at work was busy being a jerk so I've not been able to get away like usual to get to see SSLYBY perform. Last time was November 2011 in Lawrence, Kansas. Now that I'm unemployed I'm too poor to go see them perform. Funny how it's like that, right?

Life tends to kick you in the teeth when you're already on the ground.

congrats on the job ray!
i've been through the boughts of unemployment too. For the first time in months, I bought myself something for like twenty bucks and was super excited to just be buying something that wasn't a necessity lol
i am in a weird situation where i haven't seen SSLYBY in almost 2 years and i miss them and want them to come play on the east coast again, but i don't want to tell phil what i've been up to because i feel like i never did anything cool with my college degree and i don't even know how to pretend i'm aspiring to something anymore.
i miss talking to you guys, i feel guilty for not being more active or revamping anything. my whole job front is just a huge punch in the face. i totally want out of new jersey and have dance parties across the states!!

Yes! A dance party across the whole United States would be the rad-est!! Any chance Meghan of moving to some place more artsy, like NYC, Chicago, or west coast? I wouldn't be surprised if eventually my sisters & I all ended up in the Seattle area. My oldest sister lives there with her husband. I bet I'll eventually get better & can get back to work. I couldn't finish my computer science degree, and I had a few related jobs, but you got to keep up on it or you fall behind. I feel like that's where I've been at for awhile with the last job I had & now no job. Seems like a lot of industries kind of tanked in 2008 & some lost their jobs, some had to take or keep dead end lame jobs, & some got to be keep or get rad jobs that were actually going some place. I feel your pain on not going any place right now.

Thought I would throw my line in the most recent post. Ello, name's Aaron. Actually in Jersey myself, two words for jobs, gas pumping especially turnpike. Anyways, I ran across this while listening to Tape Club. I thought this would be more active. But, I caught SSLYBY back in 2011 at the Troc. Fell in love instantly. Since, I've died for a Philly tour date I can catch.

It's funny how this forum has gotten less active as the band has actually gotten more popular.
