really!?! all the videos i have seen online look like they would be awesome. my friend saw them in north carolina and she said they looked like they were pretty bored though.

1. islands are amazing live, without a doubt. 2. my five favourite bands are as follows, in no particular order : the shins, islands (and all of nick thorburn's 'side projects' / the unicorns), someone still loves you boris yeltsin, jens lekman, and YACHT. 3. picking five bands was probably the hardest thing ive done today.

No, haha, they're great. I love the album Daisies of the Galaxy... but pretty much everything I've heard from E, except maybe Beautiful Freak, is awesome. I also just read his memoir, so I'm on a new Eels kick right now, I guess.

1. The Weakerthans 2. The Smiths 3. Tegan and Sara 4. Descendents 5. The National 5 changes a lot, but i think The National is pretty consistent
