Can you guys post a setlist of the shows you have seen? I dont know why but i love thinking about how bad i wish I was at these concerts even though it is torture. I promise to write my Austin Setlist after May 7th. If they are all pretty much the same then just write about what was different, special, or suprising if anything at all.

OK, Kids. Just got back from Brooklyn
Some Constellation Glue Girls Think I Wanna Die Gwyneth Pangea Oregon Girl Beach Song Heers House Fire We Can Win Missouri (Brand new version, new lyrics, new bridge) Modern Mystery Half-Awake Deb You Could Write Book Dead Right Oceanographer Encore I am Warm and Powerful
Best SSLYBY show I've ever seen. (I've been to 10 now) Very tight. Get a fake id if you're a "young'in." It will be worth the time you spend in juvenile detention. Tell them that your mother sent you.
P.S. Hi Will

Awesome set and thanks for posting it. I guess they are playing different songs sometimes because judging from the youtube clips their cd-release show had Boring Fountain and Accident as well. Maybe it was just a longer set or they just switch it up slightly for boredom sake. I love when bands do that, depending on the songs of course. haha and I am not Will if thats the question. I really am named Rohan and they did name thier bike gang after me, its def. not that movie, whatver its called.

I missed the Chicago show (I'm going to post that delightful tale in a moment) but Will gave me a copy of the playlist while I hung out with them so I knew what I missed.
Some Constillation [sic] Glue Girls Think I Wanna Die Pangea HEERS Oregon Girl House Fire We Can Win MO Modern Mystery Half Awake Not Worth Fighting You Could Write A Book Dead right Oceanographer ---------------- (I don't know what this line represents) Beach Song Warm + Powerful
April 16, 2007 - Chicago
I should scan the envelope when I can get a hold of scanner again because he drew little pictures for each song.

Just got back from Johnny Brenda's in Philly last night. Stole a setlist although they didn't play everything on it. They played Nirvana's heart-shaped box with Via Audio as an encore along with oregon girl after
Setlist as John Rob intended: We Can Win Missouri Gwyneth Some Constellation Glue Girls Anna Lee Pangea (To which I watch John Rob write this then scribble it out and fill my heart with sadness as it was not played) Beach Song Oregon Girl (which wasn't played until after the Nirvana encore) House Fire You Could Write A Book Dead Right Modern Mystery Lower the Gas Prices, Howard Johnson' Let's Get Tired (also not played) and Oceanographer (written in excessively huge text)
But yea, cool show. My first 21+ show, everyone seemed like they were too cool to have fun...just stand around with beers in their hands. So me and two people I met danced ridiculously to punch some fun back in the atmosphere for our own sake. I'm seeing them tonight in D.C. See if I can snag another setlist.

Phil says to look out for an all ages tour in the east coast around july They made up the D.C. set a they went along umm so I'll write what I remember but it won't be in order. Some Constellation Glue Girls You Could Write A Book House Fire Think I Wanna Die Not Worth Fighting We Can Win Missouri Boring Fountain (dedicated to me, weee ) I Am Warm and Powerful Dead Right Modern Mystery Oceanographer Beach Song Heers Anna Lee i might've missed one, not sure. D.C. was a ton of fun. The audience was a lot more friendly. Can't wait til they come back in the summer

Generally, I prefer 18+ or 21+ shows, only because I don't feel as old (granted, I'm only 24).

Has anybody gone to an acoustic in-store yet?
Im curious of what songs, and how they do this(who plays what or isnt playing or whatnot). I would love to see a video but thats a lot to ask for.
Hope people can make it out to these because they are GOOD ideas. Wish they would have some in Texas.

Saw them in Seattle last night, was AMAZING! They played: Some constellations Heers House Fire Oregon Girl Think I wanna Die Glue Girls Modern Mystery Lower the Gas Prices Howard Johnson You could write a book Beach song Oceanographer Let's get tired Encore: I am warm and powerful It was a great show, phil kept talking about Kurt Cobain, being in seattle it was appropriate, and that he wants to open a Kurt Cobain museum here one day. They also took requests at one point which was amazing, my friend shouted out anne elephant, but lost to house fire. It was awesome though because after the show Phil came and found us and told us he would play anne elephant next time! They really are nice guys, I talked to them after the show for a bit and were very down to earth.

anne elephant is like the most requested song next to pangea at these shows. john rob doesn't like playing either. or i get the feeling he doesnt, there's one clip on youtube where he's like "phil convinced me to play pangea so here it is" i dunno if its cause sometimes his voice can't do it or if he's just making excuses for some odd reason.
lol i would like to see phil open a kurt cobain museum. i hope they play anne elephant frequently next tour. i have yet to see it live except for on youtube.

Ya I don't think he likes to play it either, my friend actually said it first but you could tell he wasn't into playing it so he chose house fire, he said that's what they were going to play next anyway. Pangea sounded really good actually, all of the songs were right on point.
Phil made a lot of Kurt Cobain references, one about him and will doing a sayance (spelling?), and jonh robert was like, why did you do that, to bring Kurt Cobain back to life, and Phil was like, well ya! HAHA, it was pretty funny.
