I was recording (or so I thought) All Hail Dracula, when I looked down and realized it was on pause. That song keeps getting more amazing all the time. Ah well. Here's a some clips and HEERS from last night. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CCNLNXdBzs

Only enough battery to capture one song last night. Will try and video "All Hail Dracula" when I see them on August 13th. So much fun dancing last night. Here's their usual encore of late...Anne Elephant: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbWzVvtmrFk

This makes me happy... www.lawrence.com/turnpike/videos/806/It's a 5-part live video & interview thingy from their January 2009 show in Lawrence, KS which I attended with some friends. I've not watched the whole thing. I'm sort of standing over on the side so I doubt you can see me. I guess it's been up since Feb. Don't know why I'm just now finding it.

Does anyone know who this guy is? He rules! He posted (I think, I haven't gone through all the videos yet, but there more than 10 parts) a whole show. For someone who has never seen a live SSLYBY show, this is a real treat, even though the show is kinda incomplete without John. My favorite moment here is "Glue Girls". I forgot which part it is. It starts here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTmE3YlXVhg&feature=channel"Stuart Gets Lost Dans Le Metro"

If that's the show without John Rob then Carl recorded that. He posts here every now and then under crazystudios or something like that

As some of you know, I've kind of taken a dislike to recording videos because I can't dance, but most of all because keeping an eye on the camera screen actually makes it feel like I'm watching the show on video instead of getting to enjoy it live. However, I do like to be able to show you guys new songs, plus I kind of wanted to do this as a thank you to all of you for being so kind to me on the forum and for making this an extremely enjoyable place to come hang out and discuss the band's music which I really love. I couldn't record all of every song because I was busy sometimes and because I'm pretty short and I had to hold the camera above my head so my arms would get too tired to record sometimes. However, I did try and record at least a little of every song so you guys could feel like you'd been able to attend. It was like having you guys with me at the show. I hope you can feel that. I kept them in show order and divided them up into seven videos and put them in a playlist for you: www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=D5C349B88CA29E5FVideo 1 (clips): Banned (By The Man), Everlyn, HEERS, Pangea, Beach Song Video 2 (all of): Made To Last Video 3 (clips): Glue Girls, Think I Wanna Die, House Fire, Critical Drain, Back In The Saddle Video 4 (all of): Sink/Let It Sway Video 5 (all of): In Pairs, My Terrible Personality Video 6 (clips): Dead Right, Animalkind, Modern Mystery, All Hail Dracula! Video 7 (all of): Some Constellation P.S. Sorry I only got the last few seconds of Animalkind and didn't get any of the two encores that followed Some Constellation. I got busy helping some people with some stuff during those songs. Some Constellation was the first of three encores actually. I don't remember what the last two were, but I'm pretty sure they were older songs (Broom, Pershing). One might have been Anne Elephant.

You're welcome rohan! I have my friend Jeff Zippe to thank for this video from early 2007: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vi-bYpRz_tg He didn't have the videos up on his YouTube channel anymore, so he was nice enough to send them to me so I could put all three songs he recorded into one video and post it online. It was the first time I saw Harry and the Potters play, as well as the first time I saw Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. This is what started it all for me. It was at that show that I finally understood wizard rock, and it's when I started following SSLYBY's MySpace and trolling their friends' section for other bands I might like. I had stopped listening to the radio and kind of given up on popular music until I went to their show.

Here's from the show on the 11th. It's probably the shortest clip ever and our singing adds nothing good to the video. It's insanely shaky too. Haha. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgmVpSAQeZA

Okay, who's excited for the new Sink/Let It Sway video? Brook Linder directed. Aaron Scott called it lawless, but in a good way. Supposedly there will be footage of the guys on a roof, the guys jumping between trains down by Commercial Street in Springfield, and Will running and jumping off a balcony in a house down at least half a flight of stairs...

Small space, tons of people at the show I went to. I wasn't really in a place to video, but I grabbed my iPhone when I realized they were playing "Lower the Gas Prices, Howard Johnson." Still kind of in shock that I got to hear an old song that I don't think I've ever gotten to hear. I've always wanted them to play it. Yay for Tape Club. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hDN1GUmXKM&hd=1I also got to meet Gabriella Lacza and we got our picture taken with Will! twitter.com/#!/sarahwilkes/status/141788246836387840/photo/1
