Today I slept later than I meant to and spent a few hours on the phone continuing a never-ending job hunt.

today i went to school and beat pokemon red during my third block class (chemistry). After school i had review for APWH but it was cut short because my teachers son had a seizure. then I went home and now i am waiting for my friend to come over so we can play four-square or jam.

Stayed up way too late listening to the Via Audio/SSLYBY recording from Memphis a couple weeks ago. Well, that and "Eclipse" which I have on audio book. So I'm dead tired, but managed to drag myself shopping anyways. I have to find an 80's outfit to wear to a post-wizard rock show dance that I'm attending in a little over a week. Love the 80's, but hate spending money on stuff I'm never going to wear again. No luck today, but I'll look some more tomorrow.

Called about my student loan. Worked on some script stuff. And getting ready to pick up a few hours of work at the library to help out. "Eclipse" is part of that Twilight series, isn't it? What is the fascination with vampires the people have lately? (And given my limited knowledge of the series, I use the term vampires very loosely.) (humorous link fixed)

The woman who wrote them is about my age and is an alumni of my university, so I was curious to start with, but the whole vampire thing turned me off. However...
I work on a couple website forums and everyone from the members to my fellow staff members are talking about the books. I've been avoiding getting spoiled, which has been made harder by the fact that the trailer just came out. And next week I'm hanging out with a couple hundred wizard rock fans for a 3-day Harry Potter wrock concert thingy at a YMCA camp. A lot of them are fans of the books too, and some have even written songs about that series. So I figured I better "read" the books in between school semesters and do so ASAP so I don't get spoiled.
Today I bought some summer shoes at Payless that I can also wear to work with our strict "no heels, no sandals, no toes showing" policy.

Celebrated my sister Emily's b-day, though it's really tomorrow. My family made lots of good food, and then we went to see Narnia. It was sillier than I expected. Darn. Oh well.

i thought prince caspian was ok, but i loved the first movie. prince caspian however is my preferred book when it comes down to the series. you're going to wrockstock, right? i keep getting told to go but i just never have the time/money to make the tripp today i made a poster for my birthday party in july. i'm going to crash the boris yeltsin concert in nj with my entourage of people and beach balls. however, i think you guys might be amused by the poster: the image was inspired by a don hertzfeldt animation

i've know them a year and a half now and seen them 6 times so far. but really, it's just the luxury of living in new jersey (between nyc and philadelphia) and going to college. i used to never leave the house much in high school until i went to that sslyby show my freshman year. it's hard when you don't have a car or easy access to public transportation in the suburbss.
you live in northern ny right? i dunno, maybe next tour (possibly winter? spring?) you should email the band and pose the suggestion about them coming to a city near you. ask when they're doing their next tour and if possible, find the name of some venues to mention in the email.

I really need to finish packing early because I've got some assignments on one of the websites I "work" for that I'll need to do right before I go out of town.
