i may have had the dumbest robbers break into my garage. i have basically ALL my instruments and recording doo doo in there (three or four guitars, a drum set, two basses, an organ, two guitar amps, two bass amps, a mixer, and a mic) and they only took my families bikes.

That or the smartest. He probably has a bike guy that he has connections with. He must not have a music guy. Same thing when mine and my neighbor Kevin's apartments were broken. They took similar things from both of our apartments, leaving some other interesting things alone.

Sorry for the double post.
I finally got to see Ra Ra Riot last night. They were so good. I can't wait to see them again. No idea when that will ever be.
I badly want an electric violin. I played regular violin for 8.5 years until my younger sister needed to move up to a 4/4 size so I had my parents "borrow" mine for her to use for school. Never got it back and she eventually sold it off. So sad.

Today my sister got a new $900 violin so I got her old $130 chinese one to borrow indefinitely. Just need to get a shoulder rest and a new bridge for it. She gave me her old bow though she kept my good bow that I got in high school for ~$200 (I paid half and my parents paid half as a combined b-day and Christmas gift.) Ah siblings. Got to love them. Happy to have a violin.

i have always wanted to learn how to play violin or viola or cello. I never took the time to try it though it looks like it is much different from learning any other instrument. I wrote a good portion of my college essay yesterday and today I am hopefully finishing it.

Oh in preparation for Raditude tomorrow? Yesterday I got up at 6am, went & picked up a keyboard stand, drove 4 hours to Saint Louis stopping twice at Wendy's and once at a McDonald's/gas station where I thought I was going to get mugged. Then I went to see Harry and the Potters play in this huge chamber on the roof of a museum where Tom Riddle ran sound and Someone-Still-Loves-You-80yearold-Harry played drums. I even got to help unload the van which looked a lot like the Yeltins van for some reason & rode up on a freight elevator that had an exposed ceiling so you could see up 10 floors to the top of the elevator shaft. It was really cool. I think Harry-Year-80 took some video. Edit to add videos I took: New Wizard AnthemWizard ChessHagridFelix FelicisThe Weapon

Oh my god. Raditude is going to be horrible. The single isn't actually completely horrible. At least the version they did on letterman with the brass wasn't.
Sigh, I was just reliving being 4-12 years old when da weez was good. And yes, I'm saying that The Green Album and Maladroit were good. Not as much as Blue or Pinkerton, but they're great albums. f**k da hataz.
Also, I've watched Video Capture Device like 3 times this week.
