Kinda like a Top Ten list, but more personal hopefully. Open up your iTunes and see which songs and bands you listened to the most if you can't remember. List as many or few as you want for each category.
1. Favorite albums released in 2009? 2. Favorite songs released in 2009? 3. Favorite songs released previous to '09, but that you listened to a lot this year? 4. Bands you didn't really listen to before '09, but that you grew to love this year?

i didn't listen to or discover a lot of music this year. mainly because for most of it, i was using a really bad computer that had a lot of troubles using itunes. and when i finally got a new computer, the external hard drive i had all my music on decided to break on me. but from what i can remember, i mostly listened to
The Microphones (specifically the album The Glow pt. 2) SSLYBY (obviously) Jason Anderson Islands The Unicorns Clues Born Ruffians (recently discovered) Attack In Black Beck Creaky Boards
1. one of my favorite albums is probably the Clues album. i can't really think of any other albums that blew me away.
2. the song Cardinal rules is the best song i have heard of '09. i still get goose bumps every time i hear it.
3. the song One Armed Scissor by At The Drive-In has grown a lot on me.
4. I just recently started listening to Dr. Dog because they are playing a show in syracuse soon, and so far i like what i hear. so i suppose they have grown on me.
