I called around to some record stores and found one today about 45-60 minutes from me that will have Broom on Saturday. Gonna get there early and fingers crossed I'll be able to get myself one. They're $15.

Okay, I got it and the digital download had two extra songs that weren't Broom 2006 bonus songs, but that aren't new to most of us: 1. Yr Broom (Live at WRUR) 2. Oregon Girl (Acoustic Demo) Yr Broom is 1:49 long. I've had in my iTunes since July 2008 when I got it off someone in this forum. Oregon Girl is 2:44 long. I've heard it many times, but I couldn't find it on my computer or here. Maybe I've not looked hard enough here and on iamwarmandpowerful.com for those two tracks. I've posted both to my Tumblr so you can compare them to your own tracks. Here's what else is the same or different:The cover is the same. The middle of the record is the same, but the vinyl surface is white instead of black. Mine had a couple tiny little red/pink streaks in the white. The paper slip cover that goes over the LP is white instead of the liner notes, and the liner notes are printed instead on a shiny two-sided piece of glossy paper that's the same size as the paper slip cover except totally square instead of rounded edges. The physical LP has the same 13 tracks as the 2006 Broom LP. The Polyvinyl website download has all 13 tracks, with all 13 listing Broom listed as their album and all 13 using the same digital art (Broom black "wallpaper" w/ red, pink, and white flowers). The two extra bonus tracks "Yr Broom (Live at WRUR)" and "Oregon Girl (Acoustic Demo)" list no album and have no album art. Lastly, there was a small glossy poster that matches the digital album art and has the original 10 track titles listed on the bottom. It doesn't list any of the bonus tracks. I think it's 8 1/2" x 17". Here's a picture of everything. Sorry it doesn't show the back-side of the liner notes: websilks.tumblr.com/post/4666771957/record-store-day

El Zilcho, message me your email and I'll send you all of the various bonus tracks.
Ray, I'll mail your Broom tomorrow. Wish there were more than just two Broom at that store. I did a lot of calling around in the weeks before and that was the only store that had it, and still it was almost an hour from my house and I had to get there 1 1/2 hours early. It was very windy and cold. Luckily it didn't snow, but it did take till noon before I felt feeling in all of my toes again. I was lucky my friend Paul was there, otherwise I'd have only been able to get one. The store had to make a new policy that year that each person could only get 1 of each, and only 5 albums total because people were grabbing tons of records, especially duplicates, and then putting the duplicates up on eBay for super high prices.

I already told El Zilcho this, but I realized last night that the regular/original three bonus tracks are from the Grace & Gwyn EP. One of the times I bought Broom from Polyvinyl (the CD I think) the bonus track download included a fourth track: Lower the Gas Prices Howard Johnson. It's from Someone Still Loves You Michael Holt. You can get the .mp3 versions of all four songs from iamwarmandpowerful.com's Tape Club: www.iamwarmandpowerful.com/tapeclub.html
