That sounds so awesome sarah! I wish I could've been there! One time I saw them at the house cafe in dekalb, IL and my friend and I blew some bubbles around but it got hard as more people moved around. I think I am going to the Aug 2nd show too so I'll see ya there! Thanks for updating and posting an cool picture!

that looks so incredible! those girls are so lucky. and are bubbles a reoccurring element in live shows? because if so I'm definitely bringing some to new york. I am literally counting the days until I can finally see them.

I don't remember seeing bubbles at the shows I've been to, but that shouldn't stop you. Take some anyways!
dang it sounds like it was a good time. Hopefully I'll successfully make it to a show or a few this year.

I see they've added another show to their July tour:
10:00pm supposedly July, 10 2008 at The Outland Springfield, Missouri Cost : $5 Ages: 21+
I'm almost 100% sure I won't be going since I live three hours from Springfield, it's a Thursday night, I'd have to be up at work at 6:30am the next morning for the last day of my three week training for my new IT help desk job. Got to save my last two vacation days for some other stuff in late July/early August.
I get to see the guys again on August 2nd, maybe sooner. So I'm content.

Is anyone going to the Covington, KY show? I am driving almost 4 hours, but I am so excited, since it will be my first show.

Well, other plans have popped up so I won't be able to back-to-back 11th and 12th. I'm still going to make it to the Chicago show on the 11th. I still want to see if I can catch a show with them and Our Cat Phillip so if I can, (and OCP is playing) I might try for the Columbus Show on the 20th.
Meanwhile, I'm working on getting my friend to that Asbury Lanes show on the 15th. He lives half an hour away and might have that night off work so he has no excuse not to go. Every time they played out here-ish and he was in the area, he could never make it to a show. I'm trying to get him to hit one up before going to Taiwan.

In a MySpace bulletin yesterday, Phil said they'll soon be putting up European tour dates. They'll be there in September and October. Not sure how long MySpace keeps up these bulletins, but here's the link for now.

Ok, so I'm going to my first SSLYBY show in a few days, and I was wondering how early I should show up before the doors open if I want be in the front?? I was thinking like 30 minutes before the show starts, so we can get out tickets from will call and stuff, or should I get there earlier?

I have no idea. I've always been there at least 30 minute early but I've never paid attention to how fast it fills up. It's always nice to just be there and hang out is my philosophy. No worries about parking and such when you do that.

Ok, that sounds great. I want to make sure that my friends and I get towards the front, and we aren't rushed before the concert.

I've never had trouble getting towards the front. It usually clears up a bit between sets so after the opener(s) are done, when SSLYBY gets up to the stage to get ready to play, is a good time to get up there if you haven't.

I'm considering heavily spending the approx. 2 tanks of gas for the round trip to Columbus tomorrow. I'm really interested in seeing Our Car Phillip play as well. And I could tell Nick to take a look at the forum once in a while. Haha

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you guys that a few days ago my dad emailed Phil, and didn't tell me until Phil responded. My dad is taking my friends and I to my first SSLYBY show in a few days, and Phil said that his favorite shows were the ones with his dad. =)
