Oh what did Conor's hair look like? I'm seeing him on Tuesday and for some reason, I am always oddly concerned about what hair length he is sporting. Dear Lord. I need a hobby.

Black, short-ish. He was cute, but looked a lot older in person. He is great though. It was an awesome show.

Wow, you had a good day. I hope you get that job! Today I had a good day at my internship, I'm taking off tommorow to road trip it up to San Fransisco!! Then I went to the mall, which I hate doing, but I got what I needed and got the hell out of there. And packing tonight. Oh, and who here has been to st. louis? I'm thinking about applying to a graduate program there and have never been before, and don't know anyone else who has. Any info would be helpful.I ask that 'cause it seems like everyone is from the midwest, eastcoast here. yo jamie I just went to st. louis, MO about a week and a half ago. I also saw sslyby at the rocheport show. Pertaining to St. Louis, it's really hot in the summer....It's mostly icy in the winter....the culture is wonderful and blooming there. Wonderful architecture and really down to earth people. A cool farmers market and like I said, the buildings are very old and unique. It's not a chicago or new york but it's a big city with a nice mid-western feel. mid west is the best! my friends sister lives in st. louis. I was thinking about moving to st. louis, MO after college to get out of Michigan for a different environment for a while....the people are so nice and real country if you're into that. I am I think....

Thanks sara for the info on St. Louis. It does sound like a really different city than where I'm living now, but thats a good thing! I'm also looking at chicago, possible new york too. It's just really hard deciding where I will be living for the next two years of my life, and I haven't even visited some of these places! Scary, but I'm excited for the change. I love moving to new cities and exploring all they have to offer. Today I got back from san fransisco. It was pretty much the best weekend, ever.

I'm sitting here with DVDs of MST3k and a bottle of Merlot. I need to do this more often and with more people.

Friday flew to Chicago right after work and met up with 50 of the 200 staff of the Harry Potter website I work/volunteer for. Everyone else arrived a least a couple days before me because about 1300 people had gathered at the downtown Hilton where a Harry Potter symposium was occurring. That night we hosted a rock show at Reggies in downtown not too far from the hotel. Right before the last band of the night, Paul DeGeorge of Harry and the Potters DJ'd a dance party for an hour...then Paul and his brother Joe did several rap numbers as "MC Dumbledore" (Albus and Aberforth). Jimmy and Dan from Uncle Monsterface, as well as the DeGeorge's girlfriends were the backup rappers/dancers. It was so cool. The whole weekend was amazing. Only got 2 hours of sleep each night. Flew back home Sunday night. Should have only taken 45 minutes to drive home from airport, but I was so sleepy (and playing Jukebox the Ghost so loud) that I didn't notice I'd taken the right fork in a road instead of the left. I ended up 40 miles north of the city I live in. Yeah, that wasn't good. I finally got home at 1am. Had to clean and unpack. Got to bed at 3am, got up at 5:30am, and made it to work by 6:30am. Tonight I have house guests - friends on tour who are on their way to Las Vegas. They aren't arriving here till after midnight. Looks like another night of almost no sleep. I can't believe I'm still walking and talking and typing and stuff.

I know, I want them to put out an MC Dumbledore CD.
This morning my friends didn't actually arrive until 2:45am. I got to bed about an hour later and worked a full day at work today.

feh, i'm sorry to hear that carl. i'm sure i have a lot of that in my future since art doesn't get around much unless you're a talented networker. my day? you guys are gonna love this since you guys love pizza. a friend of mine who opened for the spinto band recently postponed his musical endeavors to give professional pizza tours in new york city ( www.scottspizzatours.com). i've been meaning to go all summer (nbc and fox news even went to try it out/record it) so after seeing it on the tv, i decided to pay up and see what is was all about. a good 3 hours in a great city learning about pizza, eating the best mozzarella cheese balls and pizza. what more could one want in a tour?

I asked him for an mp3 of "bitches in holand" haha, since I didn't have it. Try Sara here on the forum. She has it because I gave it to her. I don't have it anymore...it's on a computer that's no longer in my possession. Last night I found out something that really sucks. One of my best friends broke the news to me, and the last 24 hours have been kind of crappy because of it. It's really great to have friends that can tell you the truth, and then be there to listen and know just what to say to make it almost all better. Tonight I worked late and then went to visit my new apartment in downtown Lees Summit, MO. I drowned my sorrows in a DQ strawberry milkshake and then walked around the little downtown checking out all the little shops, clubs, and restaurants. Something about saying "The DQ" always reminds me of Parker Posey.

I didn't even call to tell them lol. Its a crappy temp job I don't want. I feel really enthusastic about it can you tell?
