i doubt if there is a link anywhere online...the best bet would be if someone had the original CD and just uploaded it online. However, if all else fails, I'm was going to try and get a hold of an original copy anyway, so when I do I'll post it.

I've got it. I'll put it up tonight provided I remember when I get home. It's charmingly lo-fi and all, but I gotta say the remastered version is soooo much better.

Hold on, is the polyvinyl release better than the original self-release then? I emailed the band just before the polyvinyl one came out and Phil suggested it wasn't worth upgrading. Should I fork out for another copy then?

I love the remastered version so much more. But I like having both of them anyway.

So does anyone have the MP3's for this? I've been looking and can't find any. If anyone could post them somewhere it'd be much appreciated

Well, maybe i'm wrong. If i am, then the UNMASTERED Broom is very much mastered. Maybe i'm the last to understand something.
The link posted leads to a mastered version.
Unless i'm confused, of course.

There aren't any MP3s floating around of Broom before it was originally mastered and released independently in 2005 (though I was once in the same room as the unmastered CD and have regretted not swiping it ever since). The new version, released in 2006, was remastered, so when people refer to the "unmastered" version they just mean the 2005 release. While it was still mastered then, it sounds quite different from the remastered version.
